In the cartoon, she sits on a bed whose headboard reads, "Feminist at Work." Description of Incident: Early in April, 1993 three women stopped outside the student union building at Pennsylvania State University and began throwing thousands of copies of a conservative student-run newspaper into their car. Before the end of the month, newspaper thieves struck not only at Penn State, but also at the University of Pennsylvania and Dartmouth College. Results of Incident: The stolen newspapers created a debate on campus over the legitimacy of stealing as a form of speech.
