Artist: The Neo-Futurists Confronting Bodies: Stage Left Theater Date of Action: 1990's Specific Location: Chicago, IL Description of Artwork: The Neo-Futurists' "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind". A short play involving one of the performers standing on an American flag and saying the pledge of allegiance Description of Incident: Censored by the hosting theater because they were afraid that the theater would be shut down or a protest would occur. Results of Incident: The specific piece was pulled from performance only due to the fact that the performer was tired of doing it and not due to the theater's insistence.
