Artist: Miguel de Molinos Confronting Bodies: Tribunal de la Santa Inquisicion de Zaragoza y Lerida Date of Action: July 18, 1685 Specific Location: Zaragoza, Spain Description of Artwork: All of his work was censored, but specifically "Guia Espiritual" ("Spiritual Guide") and "Defensa de la Contemplacion" ("Defense of Contemplation"). Description of Incident: After ten years of his works' circulation, he was accused of spiritually manipulating the Catholic doctrine.
